We will adjust the itinerary according to your interests, and we’ll go at your own pace. Here is an example to cover the most important highlights of Madrid:
Sabatini Gardens: it show the most photogenic facade of the Royal Palace of Madrid, with its French gardens and refreshing fountains that shelter us away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Plaza de Oriente: is a favorite of Spanish and foreign tourists alike – and for a good reason! It is the most picturesque Plaza of Madrid and gives us a brief glimpse of the past, taking us on a tour of the grandeur of the city in past centuries.
The Cathedral of Madrid, Almudena: is not the oldest in Spain, nor the largest, but us madrileños love it just the same. The interior is colorful, modern and cozy. A brief visit brings us closer to the popular traditions of the people of Madrid.
Calle Mayor & Plaza de la Villa: A bustling street and a small square. Its architecture is a mixture of its many centuries of history, which very charming spot with many unmissable details.
San Miguel Market: an old food market, which was recently converted into a tapas place. Always full of people eating and drinking!
Plaza Mayor: Surrounded by beautiful streets, full of bars, color and history, it is one of the icons of the city, and the old market square. Today a meeting place, always crowded, hosts many public events.
Puerta del Sol: the beating heart of the city, where Madrid’s busiest shopping streets can be found. Here there are also many options to continue enjoying the day on your own. A short walk away you can reach emblematic places such as the Paseo del Prado or the Barrio de las Letras. We can give you recommendations for eating, shopping or to continue visiting monuments.

- Optional entrance to: Prado Museum is 15€/person and the Royal Palace is 10€/person
- Transport: This tour is a walking tour, Madrid is a comfortable city to visit by foot. If you need to have a car and driver available during the tour you can ask us for this extra service. The extra cost would be 45€/hour. Please ask for availability when you contact us.
Your Tour Guide will pick you up at your hotel or somewhere else of your election. If the hotel is not centrally located the guide will call a taxi, this is not included in the price, but is usually less than 10€
Drop off at your hotel is not included. At the end of the tour your tour guide would recommend you things to do if you want to continue on your own, or she would help you to take at taxi.
