Teleférico de Madrid

Madrid’s cable car started operating in the late 60s and since then many children and not really children have been enjoying this trips in the sky.

Each route is almost 2,5km long and takes 11 minutes, transporting people from Paseo de Pintor Rosales to Casa de Campo.

What can you see from Madrid Cable car?

In our way, we see Paseo de la Florida with twin towers, Manzanares river, the M40 Motorway and, of course, the pinewood of la Casa de Campo.

We enjoy the views of Principe Pío, Royal Palace, Almudena Cathedral and, in general, the West of Madrid.

If we travel only one-way, it might be a too short trip, but it has the advantage of being able to go for a walk till the lake, in Casa de Campo (you can take the subway here).
